Junior IT Support
Location: Dudley Area - On-site
Salary: Up to £26,000 depending on experience
Role Overview:
We're looking for a hands-on IT Support Administrator to provide first-line support across the business. Working closely with the IT Team Leader and wider technical team, you'll play a key role in maintaining network integrity, supporting desktop users, and contributing to infrastructure projects. This is an on-site role involving a broad range of technical responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver 1st line support to internal users, resolving desktop and infrastructure-related issues
* Install, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software
* Support systems including databases, telecoms, security, and service desk tools
* Maintain and enforce IT policies and processes, contributing to continuous improvement
* Document tasks and support activity via the internal service desk system
* Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning
* Occasionally support projects and technical initiatives outside of BAU
What We're Looking For:
* 1-5 years' experience in a similar IT support role
* Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, network infrastructure, and desktop support
* Confident communicator with strong customer service skills
* Able to prioritise and manage tasks independently
Desirable Skills:
* IT-related degree or professional certifications (e.g. Microsoft)
* Familiarity with SLAs, technical documentation, and process compliance
* Additional language skills
