Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with Express Engineering, a leading Oil & Gas equipment manufacturer based in the North East, to support with their search for an experienced Quality Engineer.
Key Duties:
Conducting thorough root cause analysis and development of corrective actions for all non-conforming parts.
Supporting customer related quality issues, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution.
Analysis of quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement, using statistical methods and quality tools.
Providing training to staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to foster a culture of quality.
Maintaining accurate records of quality issues, corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
Measuring and reporting quality performance.
Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Performing internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.Key Requirements:
Be proficient at reading & interpreting engineering drawings & specifications.
Have a strong understanding of machining & welding processes.
Familiar with and have worked with ISO9001/45001.
Have an ability to conduct thorough root cause analysis and develop robust corrective actions.
Have the expertise to identify problems and implement solutions that improve systems, processes and products in line with quality and regulatory requirements.
Possess strong IT skills, especially with Microsoft Office applications.
Have the capability to manage multiple improvement initiatives and quality projects simultaneously.
Be able to train & mentor staff on quality standards and best practices.
Be familiar with conducting internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
Possess strong communication, report-writing and presentation skills.
Hold a full driving licence.The Package:
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience.
Monday-Thursday 7:30AM-4:30PM, Friday 7:30AM-1:30PM.
