Bring your skills to the mix as a Principal Civil Infrastructure Engineer, you'll play a vital role in utilities & external works engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of civil infrastructure engineering and are particularly looking for people with broad experience of utilities and external works to help us in sectors such as Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development and Water. We provide industry-leading engineering solutions from concept through to construction, with client-side support.

Your Purpose
* Lead a team to undertake technical design work to relevant standards and high quality.
* Provide multidisciplinary understanding of utilities, external works, and drainage within civil infrastructure, managing stakeholder interfaces and ensuring proper integration.
* Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
* Manage time and budgets to project milestones.
* Work with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What You Can Bring
* Strong understanding of gas, power, water, and communication networks, UK standards, and industry practice.
* Hands-on experience in utilities and external works, including multidisciplinary design delivery.
* Problem-solving skills to assess complex scenarios and identify risks.
* Stakeholder engagement skills for effective design integration.
* Chartered Engineer qualification.

This role may require security clearance, dependent on the level required, which will be discussed at interview. The vetting process is by UKSV and may require proof of UK residency for 5 years or more.
