Female Support Worker
£16 per hour | Driver Essential (Full clean UK licence, 21+ for insurance purposes)
Shift Pattern: Flexible Monday to Friday, 10:00 – 15:00
Hours: 20 per week
Location: CB7 – Ely, Cambridgeshire

Meet Our Client
Our client lives independently in his own bungalow following a traumatic brain injury from a road traffic accident. He’s friendly, sociable and enjoys good conversation and spending time with his support team. He enjoys cooking, YouTube, reading, crosswords and collecting action figures. Before his injury, he had a passion for sailing and yacht racing and hopes to return to it in the future. He values his independence and responds best to support that is patient, respectful and encouraging. He benefits from support with routine, structure, emotional wellbeing and building healthier coping strategies.
About the Role
* Providing 1:1 support at home and in the community
* Supporting daily routines and structure
* Offering companionship and emotional support
* Encouraging hobbies and interests
* Supporting with meals and household tasks
* Promoting independence and wellbeing
* Supporting appointments and activities
* Maintaining professional, respectful boundaries
* Being mindful of food allergies in the home
* Supporting during moments of low mood or frustration
About You
* Full clean UK driving licence (21+, insurance requirement)
* Eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
* Calm, patient and reliable
* Care experience helpful but not essential
* Able to support complex needs, including substance use
* Good communication and understanding of speech difficulties
