As a Registered Nurse in our prison healthcare team, you’ll deliver high-quality care to a diverse population with complex physical and mental health needs. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide:

Main duties of the job

Leadership and Charge Nurse duties for the healthcare team
Initial health assessments and ongoing care planning
Management of long-term conditions and acute presentations
Mental health support and substance misuse interventions
Emergency response and triage
Health promotion and education

NMC-registered nurse (Adult, Mental Health, or Learning Disability)
Leadership skills
Strong clinical skills and emotional resilience
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
A commitment to delivering compassionate, non-judgmental care
Experience in primary care, mental health, or custodial settings is desirable but not essental
