At JetBrains, code is our passion. Since our founding in 2000, we have been dedicated to developing the most effective tools for software developers. Our solutions automate routine tasks, empowering developers to grow, discover, and innovate.
Many organizations struggle to extract the full value of AI from their data. Our mission is to change that. We are building intelligent, next-generation tools that empower data professionals and business users to boost their productivity and make their data infrastructure AI-ready. JetBrains is looking for a Senior Product Manager to take the lead on developing one or more of these innovative, customer-facing solutions and shape the future of data and AI.
In this role, you will:
* Drive product strategy through the continuous testing and validation of hypotheses, rigorously experimenting and iterating to define, test, and optimize product-market fit for our new product.
* Conduct comprehensive market and user research to understand customer scenarios, identify pain points, and validate product hypotheses and go-to-market scenarios.
* Build and nurture relationships with early adopters both internally and externally, gathering continuous feedback to refine the product.
* Develop and maintain a product roadmap that clearly communicates product vision and direction.
* Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure the successful delivery of product milestones.
* Establish industry-relevant benchmarks to mirror prospective customer use cases.
* Optimize data agents’ response accuracy through the prioritization and preparation of experiments to test accuracy optimization hypotheses.
* Develop the products and integrations necessary to enable customers to prepare their data infrastructure for AI use cases (e.g. semantic layering, metadata management, and other considerations).
We’ll be happy to have you on our team if you have:
* A proven track record of launching products from scratch, from ideation through to market release (0-to-1 product management).
* Experience running user and competitor research, managing relationships with early adopters, and effectively incorporating user feedback into product development.
* The ability to define clear strategies and rigorously test market hypotheses through experimentation and iteration.
* A good understanding of data architecture concepts and knowledge of SQL.
* Familiarity with basic AI engineering concepts, including tokenization, vector searching, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and large language models (LLMs) and agents design.
* The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
* Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
We’d be especially thrilled if you have:
* Experience with Python and SQL at a basic level.
* Experience with data analytics and BI tools.
* Familiarity with platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and semantic layers like Cube, dbt, or LookerML.
* Knowledge of data catalog solutions (e.g. OpenMetadata, Atlan, DataHub).
* Previous experience developing analytics solutions involving AI features.
