Business Development Manager – Facilities Management
Location: West Sussex
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Commission + Car/Allowance
We are recruiting for a growing Facilities Maintenance company seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business and expand their client base across Sussex and the South East.
Candidate Profile (ESSENTIAL)
Applicants must have experience within Facilities Management / Maintenance and meet one of the following:

Sales / Business Development background within FM, with a track record of winning contracts
OR
*
Technical or operational FM background, including:
*
Hands-on (“on the tools”) experience in M&E or building services
*
OR client-facing roles such as Contract Manager / Supervisor
*
Looking to move into a business development role
A strong technical understanding of FM services is required.
Key Responsibilities
*
Generate and win new business across the South East
*
Build relationships with commercial clients
*
Conduct site visits and assess client requirements
*
Produce and present FM maintenance solutions
*
Manage the full sales cycle through to contract award
*
Achieve sales and revenue targets
Requirements
*
Experience within Facilities Management / Maintenance
*
Knowledge of M&E, PPM, and building maintenance services
*
Strong communication and negotiation skills
*
Target-driven and commercially aware
*
Full UK driving licence
Package
*
Up to £55,000 basic (higher for strong FM sales candidates)
*
Commission / bonus structure
*
