Your new role
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a crucial part in shaping pupils' final year of primary education, ensuring they are confident and well-prepared for their transition to secondary school. You will create dynamic and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire young learners while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Responsibilities include:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum
* Prepare students for SATs while nurturing their confidence and wellbeing
* Support pupils in both academic and personal development
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure pupil success
* Implement innovative teaching strategies to drive engagement
What you'll need to succeed
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualifications
* KS2 teaching experience, ideally within Year 6
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Passion for education and commitment to pupil achievement
* Ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their potential
