Associate Structural Engineer
Location: Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, UK.
Salary: £70,000 – £75,000 per annum.
Type: Full Time.
An Associate level Chartered Structural Engineer is sought to join our reputable firm. The successful candidate will be based in the company's Welwyn Garden City office, which offers plentiful parking, is within walking distance to the mainline station, and features excellent natural light and facilities.
Projects are varied and primarily involve light industrial buildings such as specialist warehouses, sheds, portal frame buildings, and data centres for major clients. Experience in these types of projects is preferred. Projects are complex, requiring a love for problem‑solving and value engineering.
We are looking for an experienced hands‑on designer capable of running projects and leading design teams.
Qualifications
* Qualified Chartered Structural Engineer.
* Significant hands‑on design experience leading and running projects.
* Experience with light industrial building projects such as warehouses, sheds, portal frames, and data centres.
* Strong problem‑solving and value engineering skills.
* Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
