Start Date: We’re looking to get the right person in to the team ASAP Salary: £16.68 per hour Hours: On average 40 hours per week, Shift patterns: Monday - Friday 06:00-14:00 What’s in it for you? Contributory pension scheme A friendly and supportive team Training, career development & progression About the role: The Security Shift Manager will report directly to the Security Co-ordinator and will assist in the operational supervision of all staff engaged in security duties ensuring that Site Security and Safety procedures are always implemented and adhered to. Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities. Deal with any difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner. Understanding the operation of access control systems, site CCTV & integrated systems. Staff rostering, holiday management, rotas, and schedules. Month end invoicing for payroll processing, payroll queries. Training and Training record management. Covering the Operations Support Manager in absence / holidays. Liaising with the client and senior management. KPI management. Confidential minute taking, data protection, safeguarding. On occasion to have flexibility with working hours, to meet the demands of the business. This list is by no means exhaustive, but it covers the main areas. Ideal candidate profile: • Smart appearance. • SIA Door Supervisor Licence essential. • SIA CCTV Licence preferred but not essential (if not held to be willing to attain CCTV Licence) • Own transport & Full UK Driving Licence. • Management NVQ Level 3 minimum. (if not held to be willing to attain level 3 qualification) • Administration experience, Microsoft based systems. • Excellent communication skills. • Proven experience in Security Management. • Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety. • Familiarity with report writing. • Excellent surveillance and observation skills. • Flexible/Available at short notice.
