Overview
We are working with Schools and Local Authorities in your area and are looking for Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of Young People with SEND and SEMH needs in your community.
We are a child-centred company committed to reimagining the world of support for vulnerable young people, planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring to pupils and students (KS1 – KS5 as appropriate for your skills).
Responsibilities
* CPD and employee mentoring: TES CPD suite and professional mentor access
* SEND Support Team: Support to keep a team around you and the child
* Community and Company Events: Knowledge sharing and resources
* Referral Programme: Get rewarded for successful tutor referrals
* Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
Other duties include contributing to safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment as part of delivering high-quality SEND and SEMH support.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
* Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
* Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
* Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK (even for remote/online jobs)
* Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
