The Role
The Connected Commerce Director (12 month fixed term contract) will lead the development and implementation of innovative connected commerce solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in digital commerce and a proven track record of driving business growth. Key responsibilities include strategy development, product development, client partnerships, team leadership, data-driven insights, innovation, and process optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and launch Connected Commerce Product for OMG: Develop and launch OMG’s connected commerce product collaborating with the agency's central planning capabilities through the development of product, process, and partnership innovation.
2. Work closely with UK local market specialist teams to understand retail media on-site & off-site proposition and carve out a plan for launching a composite product.
3. Develop Connected Commerce Education & Innovation Agendas.
4. Collaborate with Marketing Sciences/measurement Integration and lead internal teams supporting strategy execution.
5. Champion data-driven strategy, identify performance gaps, propose solutions, and measure performance to add value.
6. Apply insights from best practices, considering local market needs.
7. Support product development of Connected Store, identifying partnership opportunities to enhance offerings across retail touchpoints.
8. Work with retail partners and technology vendors to innovate and meet client objectives.
9. Provide feedback on client pain points and product performance for continuous improvement.
10. Own connected commerce consultancy and strategic planning for key clients, building testing roadmaps and analyzing retail data for bespoke measurement solutions.
11. Ensure robust testing and data analysis across media activations.

* Experience in digital media strategy, retail planning, product/project management, or marketing consulting.
