The Engineering Team Leader Role
* Leading and coordinating shift engineers
* Planned and reactive maintenance
* Supporting continuous improvement projects
* Driving engineering standards and uptime
* Prioritising breakdowns and engineering workload
* Supporting apprentices and developing engineers
* Working closely with production teams
* Managing contractor activity on site
* Supporting shutdowns and project work
* Monitoring downtime and recurring faults
Engineering Team Leader - What They're Looking For
* Food, FMCG or other manufacturing engineering backgrounds
* Leadership or supervisory experience
* Multi-skilled electrical engineering experience
* Fault finding experience on production machinery
* Planned and reactive maintenance competency
* Strong communication skills
* Experience using CMMS
* Health & Safety awareness
