Behaviour Mentor – What your role could involve:
Providing pastoral care, mentoring, and emotional support to primary-aged pupils
Supporting behaviour, attendance, confidence, and classroom engagement
Working with children on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention groups
Supporting pupils with SEMH, SEN, ASD, ADHD, or additional learning needs
Delivering restorative conversations and emotional regulation strategies
Building positive relationships with pupils, families, and school staff
Supporting safeguarding and child protection procedures
Helping children develop confidence, resilience, independence, and a love for learning
(Responsibilities will vary depending on the school and specific role.)
Behaviour Mentor – We’d love to hear from you if you have:
Experience supporting children or young people
(Schools, youth work, coaching, childcare, care, mentoring, SEN, psychology, social care, etc.)
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
A calm, nurturing, and resilient approach
The ability to build trust and positive relationships quickly
A genuine passion for child development, wellbeing, and education
