About the Role
This is an exciting time for Compliance Services Resource Management (CS RM) as we reshape the resourcing function to work more closely with the business in developing and implementing PwC business and people strategy. This is a demanding role that would suit an experienced and proven manager seeking to demonstrate their agility and develop their leadership and commercial skills. The role sits within the Compliance Services RM team and acts as Business Partner to the Service Delivery Centres (SDCs) alongside providing insights and reporting to Corporate Tax Compliance (CT), Private Client Compliance (PCC) and Indirect Tax Compliance (ITX) pillars. The role is the operational focus for all overseas supply activity in Compliance Services, providing end-to-end support from influencing and managing the demand through to mobilisation and managing capacity.
What Your Day Will Look Like
* Collaborate with Resource Managers and Business Unit leadership to manage and influence the volume of hours offshore across CS, and work with the transformation team to influence headcount and shape the overseas workforce to align with demand.
* Build engagement teams with an optimum mix of UK-based staff, SDCs, contractors and other PwC territories.
* Provide strategic workforce planning advice to leadership to maximize margins; reconcile historic trends with emerging demand to articulate future skills; share regular updates to BU leadership, Portfolio Managers, and SDC leadership on risks and challenges.
* Refine and develop existing X-Tax processes and ways of working with SDCs to shape the Engagement Architecture, share learnings across Tax with RM and other teams; oversee Mid-Month and Month-End Utilisation Reporting on CT, PCC and ITX Pillars with support from the Resource Officer.
This Role Is For You If
