Responsibilities
* Manage an efficient, effective and comprehensive administration team across Colorectal, Upper GI, Liver, Pancreas and Emergency Surgery services.
* Lead secretarial and administrative staff to deliver high‑quality service.
* Participate in the development of corporate objectives, policies and strategic plans.
* Organise own workload and that of the Care Group administration teams.
* Ensure optimal use of physical capacity to support delivery of service and implement robust plans to advance administrative practice.
* Develop and coordinate professional training for administration teams to meet service needs.
Qualifications
* Experience with clinical administrative systems.
* Experience managing staff.
* Good understanding of NHS priorities.
