The focus is on supporting patients to achieve maximum independence and functional outcomes through a client-centred approach.Key Responsibilities Meeting departmental productivity standards for direct patient contact and associated non-patient dutiesCompleting comprehensive assessments using objective clinical measuresDeveloping and implementing realistic, goal-focused treatment plansDelivering appropriate therapeutic interventions using a client-centred approachSupervising and delegating treatment programmes to assistants, aides, and studentsMonitoring and evaluating treatment outcomes and communicating progress to the wider clinical teamMaintaining accurate and compliant patient documentation in line with current standards and policiesRecording accurate statistics for direct and indirect clinical timePreparing clinical and service reports as requiredEssential Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited universityRelevant professional certification in the country of training1–2 years' post-graduate experience, ideally within a hospital or rehabilitation settingEligibility for registration with the Council for Allied Health Professions (CAHP) in BermudaStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamFlexibility and creativity to meet the needs of patients, carers, and the rehabilitation teamAbility to contribute to the ongoing development of Occupational Therapy servicesConfidence in supervising, delegating, and supporting assistants, aides, and studentsWorking Pattern Full-time, permanent positionAllied Health Services operates a six-day rota, including evenings, weekends, and public holidaysAdditional Information Pre-employment substance abuse screening is mandatory for all successful candidatesRelocation support and further details can be discussed as part of the application process.
