Here at ISS, as a leading Facilities Management (FM) provider, we are looking to recruit an established HSEQ Lead to join our major Government contract.
This is a national account where we provide Hard and Soft FM services, delivered by a large site based workforce, from engineering to cleaning.
The focus of the client operation is Weybridge, a major, multi building campus dedicated to public health R&D.
We have 3 HSEQ Advisors ensuring day to day H&S of our staff, meaning the role is the HSEQ Lead, where you would work more strategically at an Account Lead level to ensure the ISS HSEQ policy is followed, ensure client satisfaction and improve performance.
Client estate ranges from R&D Labs, Farming buildings and offices.

Actions will include:
* Delivering the implementation of The UK HSEQ strategy, policy, business plan and arrangements across the account, ensuring measurable improvements in safety, quality and environmental performance.
* Leading and developing HSEQ Consultants and Advisors, enabling them to effectively support operational delivery and drive high standards.
* Acting as the lead subject matter expert on all HSEQ matters, ensuring rigorous incident investigation, high quality internal auditing and meaningful cultural change initiatives.
* Delivering and monitoring the internal and client audit programme via ISO standards 45001, 9001 & 14001.
* Developing and maintaining the OneISS Way in conjunction with the UK HSEQ Team to ensure consistency and best practice.
* Driving the advancement of a robust safety culture by aligning health and safety policies, risk management practices, and operational controls with organisational objectives, ensuring they are consistently adopted and influence business performance.
* Proactively delivering and monitoring progress against UK and contractual safety, health and wellbeing KPIs to support improved outcomes and prevent service failures.
We need from you:
* Nebosh General or above
* Previous experience in HSEQ within the Facilities Management sector
* Proven ability to lead through influence rather than authority, using strong interpersonal, coaching and persuasive skills to drive positive change.
* Demonstrates genuine passion for HSEQ, with the capability to inspire teams and embed a culture where safety, quality and environmental stewardship are integral to daily operations.
* An ability to communicatee effectively with stakeholders at all levels, successfully influencing decisions and collaborating across internal teams and client organisations.
