Asanovas Recruitment Solution has an exciting opportunity to lead a well-established, high-performing Payroll Team within a large organisation. This hybrid role combines technical payroll expertise, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Oversee end-to-end in-house payroll processing for the entire business.
2. Provide expert advice to line managers on payroll and workforce information.
3. Ensure payroll authorisations are in line with audit and regulatory standards.
4. Manage all payroll-related statutory filings (RTI, P11D, PSA, etc.).
5. Serve as the main liaison with internal and external auditors.
6. Ensure compliance with data protection legislation in payroll data management.
7. Lead payroll improvement projects and promote best practices.
8. Monitor and improve payroll processes and team performance.
9. Keep current with payroll law changes and disseminate updates accordingly.
10. Train and develop Payroll Team members in process improvement and policy interpretation.
11. Set and monitor KPIs for service quality (e.g., error reports).
