Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Essex & Suffolk
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 per annum
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to one of the water industry's most critical challenges while developing your expertise across data, network operations, and strategic resolution planning. IWS M&E is part of the South Staffordshire Group – a 3,000-strong organisation behind South Staffs Water, Cambridge Water, and several leading utility support businesses – offering long‑term development and career progression.
The Project Manager role is a new position to support IWS M&E with the continued growth in the Essex & Suffolk region for key framework clients, delivering non‑infra capital works to our clients, in the water sector. The role will report directly to the IWS Senior Project Manager in the region and be based out of our new North Essex office.
The Role:
* Providing Project Management to a number of projects in the region based on NEC3 / 4 contracts
* Work closely with the IWS M&E Commercial team to provide timely updates for: forecasting, early warnings, change control and compensation events
* Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, internal governance, processes, and commitment to our ‘Staying safe together’ Health & Safety values
* Work closely with project sponsor, cross‑functional teams, and assigned engineering, design and operational support to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new projects
* Project programme management, updating and ensuring monthly programme submissions for projects
* Attending and supporting client meetings
* Providing a monthly project summary dashboard
* Building rapport with the client capital and operational teams

* Have budget and financial management experience
* Working knowledge of CDM Regulations & duties, and NEC contracts
