The Role & Responsibilities
This is a hands-on role covering the full scope of workshop duties. You will be responsible for:
* Mechanical Repairs: Brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts/chains, and exhausts.
* MOT Testing: Carrying out inspections (or training to become a qualified tester).
* Advanced Diagnostics: Using modern tools for accurate fault-finding and electrical repairs.
* Specialist Tasks: Tyre fitting, wheel alignment, and air conditioning servicing.
* Quality Control: Ensuring every vehicle leaves the workshop safe and compliant.
What We Are Looking For
* Qualifications: You should be a qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 2 or 3).
* Experience: Confident working independently on a wide variety of makes and models.
* Technical Ability: Strong mechanical knowledge and a logical approach to diagnostics.
* Reliability: A professional who takes genuine pride in their workmanship.
* License: A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
