Be at the Heart of our Community! We seek a Band 3 Therapy Assistant to join our friendly team. This role is for Secondment cover until the 8th November 2026 (fixed term).
You’ll be making a real difference to your patients every day by delivering outstanding community care as a valued member of the Discharge Home to Assess Team and fellow community therapy services. We are looking for full time applications.
The service runs 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm at weekends. The post holder will be expected to contribute to the weekend working rota. The service covers both North and East Hertfordshire and the post holder may be expected at times to cover across localities.
You must hold a full valid driving licence and have access to a car to use regularly for business purposes unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010.

Responsibilities
* Working within a multi-disciplinary team of health and social care professionals, providing support for clinical care to patients closer to home as part of the patient pathway from the acute sector through to discharge.
* Provide support and treatment for patients within their own homes, delivering appropriate aspects of exercise, activity and treatment programmes which may be prescribed by a clinician, with the aim of rehabilitation and optimising potential.
* Carry out non-clinical activities to facilitate the efficient running of the team (e.g., clerical support).
* Other duties as required by the role and the attached job description.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Band 3 Therapy Assistant role with relevant qualifications as required by the post.
* Full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes (unless exempt due to disability under the Equality Act 2010).
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
