Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Wythenshawe (March Start)
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs? Teaching Personnel is partnering with an outstanding primary school in Wythenshawe to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time role starting in March.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Location: Wythenshawe
This inclusive school is renowned for its supportive, child-focused approach. You’ll work as part of a committed team, delivering personalised learning and care to pupils with SEN in both one-to-one and small group settings.
Your Role Will Include:
* Providing tailored support to pupils with SEN, individually and in small groups
* Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
* Supporting and monitoring Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
* Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
* Tracking pupil progress and adapting strategies to meet individual needs
What We’re Looking For:
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN
* A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare
* Level 2 Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
