Security Specialist - Standard Build Assurance – Salary Circa £50,000.
We are recruiting for a couple of Security Specialists to join our growing established security team, are you seeking an exciting new challenge in a globally reaching role and enjoy solving technical challenges?
A bit about the job:
The team will own and maintain the Standard Build Assurance governance framework and associated RACIs and workflows, ensuring amendments are socialised, verified, and accepted by affected parties prior to publication. The team will also own the target security baseline artefacts and any templates generated by CIS Workbench to facilitate compliance scans.
A Standard Build encompasses approved operating systems and security software agents configured to an agreed security standard. By documenting consistent, explicit baselines for core operating systems and monitoring compliance thereof, Aviva can promptly identify and mitigate exposures. This is an exciting time to join CISO and establish the run team to ensure the important changes made by the SBA project are embedded into business as usual and run.
Aviva operates a “smart working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office, and this role is based in Norwich.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Good knowledge of IT Landscape and technical infrastructure.
* Knowledge of AWS, Linux, or Microsoft platforms.
* Knowledge of securing / hardening operating systems. Practical knowledge of CIS and CIS Workbench. Compliance scanning technologies (e.g., Tanium, Qualys, etc).
* Analysing data and drawing themes / trends / insights from it.

* Salary circa £50,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
