Leader Education is currently recruiting a caring and committed 1:1 Support Assistant to work with children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and challenging behaviour at a school in Cramlington. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to positively impact a child’s educational experience by delivering tailored support that enables them to progress academically, socially, and emotionally. Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 3:00pm The Role: Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with SEND, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and active participation in learning. Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour in accordance with school behaviour policies and strategies. Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom-based learning activities Promoting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development. Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to support individual needs.
