As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the smooth running of the school day in the absence of teaching staff. While you won’t be expected to plan lessons, you will be responsible for: Supervising a class during the teacher’s absence and delivering pre-prepared lesson plans. Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies and ensuring a safe, positive learning environment. Answering general questions from students and keeping them engaged in learning. Supporting pupils to complete the work set, offering encouragement where needed. Reporting back to the regular class teacher or senior leadership about student performance and behaviour. Who We're Looking For: University students, graduates or individuals interested in a career in education. Confident communicators with the ability to manage a classroom. Reliable, punctual, and adaptable individuals who can hit the ground running. A passion for helping young people learn and succeed.
