GSL Education are inviting applications for Level 2 Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming schools across Nottinghamshire. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support students’ learning and development in a positive environment. As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Level 2 TA), you will be a key support to teachers and students in the classroom. You will help create a positive and stimulating learning environment, providing academic, emotional, and social support to students of varying abilities. Key Responsibilities of a Level 2 TA: Support teaching and learning activities under the direction of the class teacher Work with individuals and small groups of children to reinforce learning Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources Encourage positive behaviour and engagement during lessons Help monitor student progress and maintain accurate records Provide supervision during break and lunch times when needed Support students with basic pastoral care and emotional needs What we need from a Level 2 Teaching Assistant: A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable. Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary/secondary school setting is preferred.
