About the Role
We are currently seeking to appoint a Press Brake Machine Setter Operator to join our Press Shop team on the night shift. Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, this role involves setting and operating an Amada 7-axis Press Brake. The successful candidate will confidently set the machine based on tooling lists and fully dimensioned component drawings to produce various components from thin gauge materials.
Responsibilities
* Prioritize Health & Safety, Quality, and Target awareness at all times.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
* Follow current quality procedures for all tasks.
* Set and operate the machine to produce dimensionally accurate components as per drawings.
* Measure components using Vernier, angle protractor, and thickness gauge, making necessary adjustments to tools to meet quality and drawing specifications.
Shift pattern: Sundays to Thursdays, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £15.12 per hour (with a 25% shift allowance)
