We’re offering an exciting apprenticeship opportunity within our Children’s Social Care – Service Support team. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and eager to learn in a fast-paced and meaningful environment. As an Apprentice within Team Support, you’ll gain hands on experience, develop essential administrative skills and work towards a recognised qualification. You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues and offered training both on and off the job. What you’ll be doing: In this varied and rewarding role, you will: Carry out general clerical and administrative duties such as typing, data entry, filing, photocopying, and email management. Act as a first point of contact for telephone enquiries or reception visitors, taking messages and directing queries. Organise meetings and provide an accurate note taking service. Work flexibly to support teams across Children’s Social Care. Assist with financial transactions as required. Complete all required apprenticeship training, including attending college and submitting coursework. Follow all Council policies and procedures, including health and safety requirements. Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role. What we’re looking for: We’re seeking someone who is motivated, reliable and ready to learn. You’ll need: A good standard of education. Strong communication skills – both written and verbal. A ‘can do’ attitude and positive work ethic. A willingness to learn and develop your skills and complete the apprenticeship.
