Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are recruiting a Secondary Science Teacher to join a thriving mainstream secondary school in Fareham, Hampshire, starting from September 2025. This full-time, permanent role is open to Qualified Teachers (QTS), Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and those with recognised overseas teaching qualifications.
Key Responsibilities for the Science Teacher:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
* Plan and assess learning in line with the national curriculum and department guidelines.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages scientific enquiry and critical thinking.
* Use a range of strategies to support student progress and classroom behaviour.
* Contribute to department planning, development, and extra-curricular science activities.
* Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide feedback to students and parents.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* QTS, ECT status, or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification.
* A specialism in Science with strong subject knowledge in one or more disciplines.
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
* A passion for teaching and inspiring students in science.
* The ability to work effectively within a team and engage with the wider school community.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
