Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Intensive Psychiatric Care Unit (IPCU) of Stratheden Hospital for an enthusiastic registered mental health nurse who is keen to enhance and develop their clinical skills within this specialist environment. Hollyview ward is a mixed 8 bedded purpose built unit. The post holder will contribute to providing high quality evidence-based care and support to patients who experience a diverse range of mental health issues within the Acute and Forensic Services. The post holder will provide care through a progressive patient focused approach, within a therapeutic environment that is underpinned by risk assessment and multidisciplinary working. Hollyview is a dynamic environment and the ideal candidate should be motivated, work well as a member of the team and support a positive and therapeutic culture which is focused on the ever changing needs of the patient group.

Responsibilities
* Contribute to providing high quality evidence-based care and support to patients with a diverse range of mental health issues within the Acute and Forensic Services.

* Support a positive and therapeutic culture focused on the changing needs of the patient group.
Qualifications and requirements
* Must be a registered mental health nurse.
* Must become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
* Legal right to work in the United Kingdom and ability to demonstrate entitlement to work (UK visa routes may apply).
* Pre-employment checks include entitlement to work verification in line with NHS Scotland requirements.
* It may be possible to secure sponsorship via a UK Skilled Worker/Health & Care Worker Visa in certain circumstances, subject to licenced Sponsor status and salary thresholds.
