Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Assistant to join our team. As a Front of House Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our visitors, playing a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our front-of-house activities.
Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing them with exceptional service and assistance.
* Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimise guest flow.
* Answer queries regarding the menu, services, and facilities with confidence and knowledge.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, ensuring it is presentable at all times.
* Assist in managing customer feedback, addressing concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
* Support administrative tasks such as taking orders, processing payments, and updating records as required.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role is advantageous but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is key.
* Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* A keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
