How you will make an impact
The Area Specialist will work closely with the Capex project manager. The key responsibilities of the role are:
1. Oversee all process areas from milk to cheese milk out and whey in to whey out.
2. Collaborate with the CAPEX, NPD, and Production teams to develop clear equipment technology masterplans that define strategies and roadmaps in line with company innovation, capacity, productivity, and infrastructure investment plans.
3. Ensuring process and technology implementation in accordance with NPD, production, and technology requirements and standards.
4. Supporting the development of equipment standards and specifications to be used when purchasing equipment for the Arla manufacturing network.
5. Providing technical support and technology expertise to the project, identifying productivity improvements and resolving technical issues related to their equipment.
What will make you successful
To be successful for this role the ideal candidate will have five years of relevant experience with specific focus on the below:
6. Experience designing / scoping full manufacturing lines / systems.
7. Applied knowledge of machine safety requirements (including machine safety circuit design and classification) and of good manufacturing practices and hygienic equipment design.
8. Applied knowledge of equipment PC&IS / controls systems .
9. Experience working with Production and in cross-functional teams.
10. Demonstrated cost consciousness, communication skills, and diplomacy that will promote good relations with all facets of management and other technical disciplines in the effective execution of projects to accomplish objectives and demanding schedules
