We are currently seeking an experienced Site Agent to join a major infrastructure project based in Buckinghamshire on a long-term contract basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile civil engineering scheme with strong potential for contract extension and future progression onto further major projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of critical earthworks and drainage packages, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to programme.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day site operations on major civils works
Manage subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials on site
Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, budget, and quality standards
Coordinate and supervise earthworks and drainage activities
Maintain strict adherence to health and safety procedures and company policies
Review RAMS, permits, and site documentation
Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and site teams
Monitor site progress and produce regular reports
Drive programme performance and resolve site issues proactively
Requirements
Proven experience working as a Site Agent on major projects
Strong background in earthworks and drainage
Previous experience within civil engineering / infrastructure environments
Valid CSCS Card
SMSTS certification (essential)
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively
Strong focus on health, safety, and quality
