About The School

The Role
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and talented Subject Leader to join our committed and creative school. This vacancy is an exciting opportunity to join our motivated and inspiring team of teaching staff at Regents Park Community College.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage the Sociology department, ensuring high-quality
* teaching and learning
* Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Sociology curriculum,
* making improvements where necessary
* Provide guidance and support to teachers within the department,
* helping them to develop their practice
* Promote the Sociology subject across the school, raising its profile
* and engaging students
* Contribute to the overall development and success of the school
* Requirements:
* Qualified teacher status
* Extensive experience in teaching Sociology at KS4 and RE at KS3
* Proven track record of delivering consistently good or outstanding
* lessons
* Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Sociology
* Strong leadership and management skills
* Commitment to raising standards and driving school improvement

* Willingness to take on new challenges and initiatives
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
