Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
Evesham
£51, - £56,pa, graded, based on experience
4on 4 off 12 hour shifts, days only, 6am - 6pm
A large client based near Evesham is currently seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their business. The client is involved in fresh food produce and so experience in this particular environment is highly sought after, although not essential - working in similarly strict environments is also appreciated, such as pharmaceuticals or bottling.
As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will assist with reactive maintenance, PPM and assisting with repairing production machinery to ensure that production downtime is kept to a minimum. You will fault find, repair breakdowns to keep the efficiency to a maximum potential, conduct PPM activities, work with HACCP principles and be a part of a large team.
This is day shift only and the production will be in a full swing. You need to be able to work efficiently and well under pressure as breakdowns will need to be resolved as quickly as possible. You will work with conveyors, weighing machines, gas machines, ovens and other equipment around the site.
Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:
1. Service and repair of production machinery
2. Reactive maintenance & Planned Preventative Maintenance
3. Implementing continuous improvement projects
4. Understand and implement HACCP principles
5. Providing technical support to factory operators
Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
6. Experience in FMCG environment preferred
7. Minimum of 3 years' experience
8. Fault finding experience is essential
9. Must be willing to learn new skills and be keen to progress
10. Work well within a team
