CETO Talent is supporting a growing design consultancy that plays a key role in delivering complex projects across the water and rail infrastructure sectors. With an expanding project pipeline and continued investment in their design capabilities, we are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer to join their Manchester-based team.

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Deliver geotechnical and civil engineering design packages in line with safety and quality standards
* Prepare and review GI specifications, interpretive reports, calculations, and technical drawings
* Mentor and support junior engineers and CAD technicians
* Lead and attend design meetings, investigations, and technical reviews
* Ensure compliance with relevant industry, group, and client-specific standards
* Estimate design hours and manage delivery against project deadlines
Ideal Experience:
* Background in geotechnical/civil engineering design within water, rail, or other regulated sectors
* HND or degree-qualified in a relevant discipline
* Competency with GI reporting and ground modelling
* Knowledge of construction methods and engineering drawing practices
* Registered with a professional body and ideally working towards or holding chartership
