As an ALN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping pupils with diverse needs—ranging from autism and speech & language delays to physical and social-emotional challenges—feel safe, confident, and empowered to learn. Your Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 or small-group support for pupils with ALN Work in a mix of mainstream, specialist provisions, and nursery settings Assist with tailored learning plans and behaviour support strategies Promote inclusion, independence, and positive social development Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents ✅ What We’re Looking For: Previous experience supporting children with ALN (essential) A calm, patient, and nurturing personality Flexible and adaptable – ready to work across different schools Excellent communication and teamworking skills Relevant qualifications in ALN or childcare (bonus, not essential) What’s in It for You?
