Project Accountant Permanent | Central London | Non-Profit Sector A highly respected non-profit organisation is searching for a sharp, systems-savvy Project Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. Reporting to a seasoned and supportive Head of Finance, this is your chance to play a pivotal role in transforming the operational backbone of a purpose-driven organisation. The Brief Ensure procurement policies and processes are adhered to, including receipt of three quotes or formal tender process depending on the estimated value of the spend Monitor and identify new opportunities for grant or other funding, provide assistance to relevant departments with preparing and submitting bids for funding Ensure actual capital expenditure is within approved budget, identify potential or actual cost overruns for review and consideration Develop and maintain a rolling cashflow forecast to record expected receipt of funds and payment of capital and other project expenditure Candidate requirements Experience in Project Accounting role Experience in grant funding Qualified accountant (CIPFA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent), Qualified by experience would be considered Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including ability to use Excel to an Intermediate level Knowledge and experience of using a system/database Good communication skills including the ability to build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels The Details Permanent Closing date: 05/11/2025 Central London-based, hybrid working available - 2-3 days a week on site preferred but there is flexibility Apply now, together with an updated CV, an indication of any notice period we would need to take into account for you
