Mechanical Project Supervisor
Purpose of the Role
The role involves managing the Council's building and maintenance projects within the Regeneration, Property, and Housing sector. You will provide technical specialist advice in mechanical building services engineering, ensuring works are delivered efficiently, meet required quality standards, and comply with statutory legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, with specific attention to water hygiene and legionella control.
Key Accountabilities
1. Act as a key advisor to the Corporate Landlord on compliance of the Corporate Estate, in line with ISO 55000 International Standards for Asset Management.
2. Provide technical specialist advice in mechanical building services engineering.
3. Oversee compliance, servicing, and project delivery for heating, hot and cold water services, air conditioning, and commercial kitchen services.
4. Manage building and maintenance projects efficiently, ensuring performance specifications and quality standards are met.
