At Kingsway Primary School we aim to provide a secure, caring, happy and enjoyable environment where every child can flourish as an individual. We seek to promote the development of each pupil, regardless of gender, race, social circumstances or special needs to ensure that all children can achieve their dreams. We are a "Good" school (OFSTED, January 2023).
We have a great opportunity for a skilled and motivated Higher Level Learning Assistant to join Kingsway Primary School. Our HLLAs have a varied workload which may include working with children in small groups but in the main involves taking responsibility for whole-class teaching both on a planned and adhoc basis.
We are looking for someone who shares our vision of "every child, every chance, every day" - an HLLA who places the child at the heart of the learning process. Confident with working across all year groups, you should be a team player, confident communicator and someone who is flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing situations.
For further information about the role, or to arrange a school visit prior to submitting an application, please contact Rachel White (01405 763716).
Online applications close on 7 September. Applications will be received at the school up until 9am on 8 September.
If you already work for the council and have an Employee Self Service (ESS) account, please login to apply online using your ESS username and password.
Schools applications
This school does not have the resources to send individual notifications to all applicants who are not shortlisted so if you have not been contacted within 2 weeks of the closing date you should assume you have been unsuccessful.
If selected for interview, an online search will be conducted for candidates. This is in line with KCSiE 2022.
DBS/Medical check
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS clearance check. The school is committed to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare. All members of staff are expected to share this commitment.
