Your Responsibilities
As our Deputy Nursery Manager, you will:
* Ensure the safety and well-being of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor at all times.
* Understand and uphold the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS throughout the nursery.
* Assist in managing medication acceptance and administration, ensuring care plans are thorough and up to date.
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources appropriate to each child's age and stage of development.
* Promote respect and credibility through effective communication, impartiality, and consistency.
* Inspire the staff team with creative ideas and challenges to achieve outstanding practice.
* Maintain accurate records and accounts relating to children and staff on the EyMan system.
* Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and the safety and well-being of children, staff, and families.

What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification: Essential
* Leadership experience: Essential
* Over 1 year of experience in Early Years: Essential
* Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS: Essential
* Over 1 year of experience in a management position: Desirable
* Level 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership: Desirable
* Experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding: Desirable
