Exciting Opportunity – Assessor/Trainer in Civil Engineering
Are you an experienced professional in Civil Engineering with a passion for training and mentoring the next generation? Our client, an exceptional Vocational College in Cambridge, is looking to hire a new team member soon.
As an Assessor/Trainer in Civil Engineering, you will:
* Manage a caseload of learners, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure successful apprenticeships.
* Serve as the main contact for learners and employers, fostering relationships to support skills development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct progress reviews and provide feedback to learners and employers.
* Support learners in developing portfolios and preparing for end-point assessments (EPA).
* Collaborate with employers to identify training opportunities.
* Track and document learner progress to meet quality standards.
* Deliver targeted training to enhance learners' life skills.
About You:
We are seeking candidates with:
* A relevant Level 3 vocational qualification in Civil Engineering.
* A Level 3 TAQA qualification or willingness to obtain it.
* Industry experience, strong communication, and organizational skills.
* A passion for training and mentoring, with understanding of apprenticeship standards and EPA.
