In this role, you'll lead compelling communication campaigns that convert prospective international students into enrolled members of our vibrant academic community. Working alongside cross-functional teams, you will craft strategic messaging and utilise innovative outreach techniques to showcase Arden’s unique educational value. About You: We are looking for an experienced International Conversion and Communications Officer, with a deep understanding of inclusive support practices, and a proven track record of implementing international student engagement in a higher education setting. You will need to:- Plan and deliver communications and conversion campaigns for international applicants across multiple markets. Work collaboratively with internal teams and global partners to ensure consistent and culturally responsive messaging. Use a data-driven approach to personalise communications based on applicant stage, region, and preferences. Produce high-impact content across email, SMS, social media, and direct mail—aligned with Arden’s brand and international recruitment goals. Ensure efficient campaign workflows and processes, continuously seeking improvements in quality and delivery. Monitor and report on campaign performance and market trends to guide strategy. Benchmark international competitor communications to keep Arden at the forefront of sector best practices. Support initiatives that contribute to widening participation and internationalisation, ensuring inclusive communications for underrepresented and overseas student groups. Deliver international conversion events and projects—on time, within budget, and aligned with recruitment targets. Represent the Global Development Office across committees and projects, championing positive change in policies, culture, and student experience. Essential requirements: Proven experience in international student recruitment, admissions or similar transferable industry. Degree or equivalent experience Strong cross-cultural communication and content creation skills. A strategic, data-informed mindset with attention to detail. Experience of working with Student Information Systems / CRM systems Experience managing multi-channel campaigns and conversion projects. An inclusive approach and understanding of international student needs and journeys from previous roles. Strong collaboration and student engagement skills. Desirable requirements: Marketing or business postgraduate or vocational qualification (ie. CIM or IDM) Campaign development and implementation, evaluation and adjustment to maximise return on investment.
