Join Guidant as we collaborate with the world's largest aircraft manufacturer, Airbus. We are seeking Toolmakers to join Airbus' dynamic team at the prestigious Broughton site, within the Wing Build Production section.
If you have experience in a similar role, you are invited to join Airbus and undertake essential, challenging work, as aircraft wings are among the most technically intricate components of an aircraft.
About the role
* Reactively maintain tooling to ensure production continuity
* Proactively maintain critical path tooling and specific features of jigs to support the build cycle according to predefined schedules
* Collaborate with the Metrology team, utilizing Laser Trackers and CMM instruments to check and certify various types of tooling across the Broughton Plant
* Support measurements for AC concession data and acceptance checks
Flexible shift options
* Double Days: Week 1 - 06:00 to 13:10, Week 2 - 13:30 to 20:40 (Monday to Friday)
* Nights: 20:45 to 06:00 (Monday to Thursday)
Who are we looking for?
Candidates should have completed a full Apprenticeship in Toolmaking and hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
