Sharp Consultancy is pleased to be partnering with a highly respected independent firm of accountants in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, to appoint an Accounts Assistant Manager into a newly created position. This role has arisen due to continued growth with further expansion on the horizon.

What’s on offer:
* Salary between £48,000 - £52,000

Duties and responsibilities to include:
* Develop and maintain a varied client portfolio including SME’s, OMB’s and larger group structures.
* Proactively monitor client needs including upselling and cross-selling different service lines where needed.
* Support on business development activity including attending new client meetings with senior management.
* Ensure the accurate production and delivery of year end accounts including taxation reviews and submission of statutory accounts.
* Provide effective tax planning services where needed – including on advising on structures and other notable schemes.
* Lead and develop a small team including setting objectives and bespoke personal development plans.
Person specification:
* ACA / ACCA Qualified
* Previous experience of working within Accountancy Practice (essential)
