Advanced Social Work Practitioner
Hours: 37 hours per week
 * Salary: £51,356 to £54,495 per annum (Grade 12, subject to experience)
Join Child Friendly Dudley in new Advanced Social Work Practitioner roles across our social work teams.
We are building on our restorative practice model by redesigning our directorate and implementing the Family Safeguarding model to ensure we focus on children first and place them at the heart of all we do.
Responsibilities
 * Hold a caseload of children needing the most skilled help.
 * Model, coach, supervise and facilitate learning activities.
 * Work with children and families in a statutory social work setting, intervening in areas of poor practice, demonstrating leading practice and developing the professional practice of team members.
 * Formally support others in a social work or social care role, including practice education of students or ASYE social workers.
 * Provide support and challenge to colleagues and families and create change.
Qualifications & Requirements
 * Registered social worker with significant experience working with children and families in a statutory social work setting.
 * Evidence of intervening in areas of poor practice, demonstrating leading practice and developing the professional practice of team members.
 * Experience of formally supporting others in a social work or social care role, e.g., practice education of students or ASYE social workers.
 * Minimum of 12 months post‑qualifying experience; if qualified in England but registration lapsed, restore registration or complete ASYE programme.
 * Qualified social workers less than 12 months experience can contact CPP for vacancies and ASYE programme at CPP@dudley.gov.uk.
 * Authorized to work in the UK; no sponsorship provided.
