The Role – Teaching Assistant (PMLD&SLD)
We are working with a school for children with Severe Learning Difficulties aged 2-19 year. The school is currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated PMLD & SLD Teacher. The school has been ranked outstanding by OFSTED for the past 21 years.
SEN teaching assistant duties:
* Support pupils with SEN in the classroom and during break/lunchtime activities
* Maintain the classroom equipment in a safe and tidy condition
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
* Assisting the class teacher
* Provide teaching and learning support
What We’re Looking For
* roven experience or strong training background in SEN or PMLD settings.
* Deep understanding of complex learning challenges and a commitment to inclusive education.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children with additional needs.
* Have previous experience working with SEN children
* Sociable hours, NO WEEKENDS – 8.30am-3.30pm (these hours may vary by 45 minutes)
