Role Summary
To set and operate CNC Vertical Turning Machines in accordance with Work Instructions, to produce quality products in a safe and controlled manner, meeting all quality specifications whilst satisfying productivity requirements in compliance with engineering drawings and associated specifications.
Key Accountabilities (includes, but not limited to the following)
* Operation of a variety of CNC machine tools, Fanuc, Siemens and G&L controls.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Read and Interpret CNC programs.
* Download, edit (if required), and archive CNC programs.
* Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate tooling.
* Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate cutting conditions.
* Inspection and recording of all relevant dimensions.
* Completion of all documentation and labour bookings.
* Demonstrate engagement with other Team Members where applicable.
