Branch Supervisor - Wakefield (WF2 7BT) – Plumb Centre
Salary: Up to £28,050 dependent on experience + Bonus + Excellent Benefits.

Responsibilities
* Assist the Branch Manager with the day‑to‑day running and operations within the small branch.
* Supervise and support branch staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
* Serve customers on the trade counter, offering advice and product knowledge.
* Build rapport with customers and suppliers, respond to any queries and process sales.
* Perform general warehouse duties – goods in/out, picking and packing customer orders.
This is a full‑time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 07.30am – 05.00pm and Saturday on a rota basis 08.00am – 12.00pm.
Qualifications
* Previous industry or merchant experience preferable.
* Prior experience as a supervisor in a face‑to‑face customer service/sales environment.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with customers.
* Team player willing to take on diverse roles to ensure the branch runs smoothly.
* Keenness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic.
* Comfortable lifting heavy items.
